COMPAGNIA TARDITO-RENDINA
I met Federica Tardito when she was still organizing Dance Sensible workshops with Claude Coldy at the Centro Danza Royal in Turin. I had heard about him, and I needed to study movement. I wasn’t
a dancer, and I’ve never been one, but Dance Sensible changed my life, and for that, I thank Federica, who told me: “…I think you’d like it.”
That was around 2004. The following year, I was asked to replace Riccardo Maffiotti in the show Creazione, which had already gone through six months of
rehearsals. After several more months, the show had a new performer, a new structure, and even a new title.
Together with Aldo Rendina, whom I had the pleasure of hosting at the Piccolo Teatro Perempruner in Grugliasco, Turin, with the Ubu Award-winning show Cuore, written and performed by Raffaella Giordano, we toured extensively with Circhio Lume: Brazil, Uruguay, Israel, France, Switzerland, and of course, all over Italy.
I owe them a great deal. Even my passion for Clowning was strengthened thanks to them.
